Kansas State University: 2007-2008, Humanities, B.A. conferred, with a Certification in Primary Texts from KSU's Political Science Department. 2011-present University of Pittsburgh College of General Studies, Classical Languages 2016-present CCAC E-Commerce certificate. Experience
Mr. Esparza was raised with the Latin Mass through the route of being an Altar boy he was first acquainted with Latin. In High School when he attended St. Mary's Academy in St. Marys Kansas where he studied the full four years of Classical Latin Offered and a year of Koine Greek. While a student he earned two gold medals and one silver medal on the Junior Classical League's National Latin Exam. At University he studied Classical Languages with the University of Pittsburgh's Classics Department as a generalist (both Latin and Greek,) a course of study which continues to this day as a post-Baccalaureate student. He completed his bachelor's at Kansas State University in the multi-disciplinary field of Humanities, broadening his scope of study to outside the world of Antiquities. As part of his completing his studies he took a certificate in the Primary Texts from the University's Political Science Department which is based on the philosophy of "Great Books" for education instead of relying solely on textbooks. He is a current columnist with the Examiner.com writing on topics pertaining to educational policies in Pittsburgh and Classical education.
